Who can join MVFCU? If you live, work, worship or attend school or volunteer in Clinton or Essex County – you are eligible to join.
What is a credit union? A voluntary, not-for-profit cooperative organized by a group of people having a common bond, and democratically administered to encourage thrift among its members, create a source of credit at low rates, and provide maximum service at minimum cost.
What is the minimum amount to open an account? Just a $5.00 deposit will allow you to open a savings account with the credit union. This $5.00 must remain in the account to keep it open.
Is there a minimum balance required for checking accounts? No, we do not require a minimum balance in a checking account. We also offer free checking when you sign up to receive e-statements.
What do I do if I lose my debit card? Immediately call 1-800-543-5073 and notify the credit union.
How do I get a new debit card? You must call the credit union to order a new debit card.
How do I sign up for Online Banking? Click on the “services” tab at the top of our website and then click on “Sign up for Online Banking”. A staff member from MVFCU will contact you with a password and further directions.
How do I download the Mobile App? Go to either the “App Store” for Apple devices or “Google Play” for other devices. The MVFCU App is free.
