Mountain Valley Federal Credit Union is a unique kind of financial self-help, non-profit institution organized in 1963 by the employees of Peru Central School. On December 21, 2015, NCUA (National Credit Union Administration) approved Mountain Valley Federal Credit Union’s request to become a community charter credit union. We are very pleased to announce that with this new expansion, our community charter service will now include Clinton County and Essex County. This allows our credit union to provide our superior services to anyone who lives, works, worships, and volunteers or attends school in Clinton or Essex County, New York. Over the years, Mountain Valley Federal Credit Union has built a unique, trust-based relationship with our members and we are eager to bring our philosophy of ‘People Helping People’ to everyone in Clinton and Essex Counties. Our staff and Board of Directors strive to uphold that philosophy every single day.
